Promoting the empowerment of the cultural industry

Suggestions on rural revitalization

Implementing the strategy of rural revitalization is an important historical task for China to build a well-off society and a modern socialist country in all respects. Against this background, in 2022, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and other six ministries jointly issued The Opinions on Promoting the Revitalization of Rural Areas by Empowering Cultural Industries, proposing to guide institutions and individuals of the cultural industry to go deep into rural areas to help and invest, and give full play to the multi-functional value and comprehensive driving role of the cultural industry to help rural economic and social development, consolidate and expand the achievements made in poverty alleviation while continuing rural revitalization, and promote industrial prosperity, ecological environment, cultural and ethical progress, effective governance and increase farmers’ income. Among them, “one town one product" is an important rural revitalization strategy at present. Under the new scenario of 5G mobile communication technology, artificial intelligence, big data and web3.0, the integration of design and technology has become an effective solution for the "one town one product" initiative.
